This Vans Era version is from the California range, has seen a number of notable changes. The upper is made from premium wool with a contrast 'wing tip' leather toe and heel. This Era Wingtip CA also boasts waxed cotton laces,  a white vulcanized midsole and a classic gum sole. The Vans Era CA Wingtip has the Vans logo on the back of sole and stitched into the outside of canvas upper. This Wingtip Era shoe will look hot if worn with jeans, baggies or shorts.

The Vans Era was a progression from the Vans Authentic. Made for the skateboard market it took the classic silhouette that had been successful since 1966 and made a number of notable changes. The main difference is the padded collar and reinforced stitching to add extra resilience while skating.
